Frugal Find: Brandy Melville Guiliana Skirt Dupe

As the weather gets colder, I've been really liking maxi skirts, both for practicality and style. I used to think they looked weird on me because I'm tall but recently I've gotten more comfortable wearing them out. I own a few already but I've been eyeing ones from Brandy Melville for a long time because they have slight slits, which show some skin while still being tasteful.

Unfortunately, they range from $25 to $40 for patterned options, which is a crazy price for what is basically a piece of fabric. Luckily for me (and sadly for my shopping addiction), I found these dupes at Forever 21!

The slit isn't extremely big which I'm happy about because Forever 21 has a tendency to cut the slit indecently high. The burgundy color is extremely trendy right now and is a nice way to add color into an outfit. And the best part ....
They're only $8.80! Getting all three colors they come in would cost less than one skirt from Brandy.

UPDATE

Forever 21 now offers this skirt in a striped pattern like the Brandy Melville picture above for only $12.80!

Forever 21 basics sell out fast so snag one if you get the chance!

  1. I just love theses Brandy Melville Skirts. Stuff of these skirts is very soft and light to wear; price is also very reasonable which suits my budget. I will definitely buy this skirt.

  2. Wish there was a forever 21 closer to me in the UK! Seriously love everything they sell, and its so lovely and cheap! Nice post, really good idea to find cheaper alternatives for fashion rather than just makeup!
I'm a new follower, excited to read more posts in the future!
